Gibson's highly-anticipated Adam Jones Les Paul Signature is now in production

The wait is almost over!

After months of immense speculation and a tantalising confirmation that the myth of an Adam Jones signature Les Paul would come earlier in January, it's been revealed today that the signature Silverburst for the Tool guitarist is officially now in its production phase.

The news was confirmed today on Tool's official Instagram, with the band taking to social media to declare 'It doesn't get more official than this: Adam Jones Signature Guitars now in production!'.

Back in January, it was reported that the Gibson Custom Shop were working on recreations of both Jones' iconic 1979 Silverbursy Les Paul Custom and Tony Iommi's 'Monkey' SG, used on much of Black Sabbath's early discography. While we've received a first glimpse of Iommi's SG, fans are still frothing at the mouth to hear more about the Tool guitarist's own signtature model, so this will undoubtedly make a lot of punters happy.

Recently, Adam Jones took to Tool's Instagram to demonstrate a tricky riff from the band's latest LP Fear Inoculum. The band also stated that they were using their time in isolation to write and record new material in a recent livestream, so it looks like there's plenty of goodies awaiting Tool fans in the next year or so.
