The all ages festival is set to go down on January 24 at the University of Wollongong’s Uni Hall, and will be headlined by none other than hometown heroes Hockey Dad, who have just released their third full-length Brain Candy and nabbed Triple J’s coveted feature album spot for this week.
They’re set to be joined by fellow Wollongong stalwarts The Vanns and rising Melbourne hip-hop artist Jerome Farah, with local psych outfit Good Lekker and Canberra favourites Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers also legging up for the event.
Considering tickets for Yours & Owl’s larger event sold out within hours of going on sale, it goes without saying that there’ll be a high demand for spots to this gig, so grab ’em while you can. The festival have also noted that this event is going to be overseen by local health advisors to make sure there’s no major dramas in the COVID department – if there’s any updates, we’ll bring them to you right here.
