Modelled on the classic TU-3 look, the app is designed for “accurate on-the-go tuning for guitar, bass, ukulele, and other instruments,” meaning that in any situation, whether it be busking or before a gig, you can stay in tune.
The app works in the same way as any other tuning app, and whilst it is definitely not the first of its kind on the market, its pedigree may draw some fans away from other tuning apps.
The display is remarkably similar to the stompbox it was modelled on, so just be careful not to mix the two up if you own both… I’m pretty sure Boss won’t be paying for the screen repair on your smartphone.
