Amen & Goodbye features the single ‘I Am Chemistry’, which was released in January and features Suzzy Roche of The Roches, who sings alongside lead singer Chris Keating. The track built the hype for the album with fans and critics alike, but they will still have to wait some time before hearing it in full.
The album marks a departure from the digital approach of their last release, 2012’s Fragrant World, and in a complete turnaround was recorded completely on tape, with the assistance of producer Joey Waronker (Atoms For Peace, Beck)
In conjunction with the musical side of the album, Yeasayer have again collaborated with renowned sculptor David Altmejd for the visual interpretation. Altmejd designed the gatefold artwork and also helped create the music video for ‘I Am Chemistry’, which you can watch below.
