To promote the American Ultra range, Fender called upon three of the finest session guitarists in the business to jam out on the latest iteration of the Stratocaster to formidable results. Featuring the likes of Ari O’Neal, who plays guitar with Beyonce and Ariana Grande, Snarky Puppy’s shredder in chief Mark Letteri, and young gun Ayla Tesler-Mabe, it’s a shred fest of enormous proportions. You can even hear Letteri sneak in the riff from Jimi Hendrix’s Band Of Gypsys tune ‘No One Knows’ towards the end, with the ensemble immediately shifting into a funky pocket for a slinky conclusion. Sheesh!
