Vivid Sydney unveils full 2019 programme

Joining previously announced headliners The Cure and Rüfüs Du Sol are a wide range of heavyweight international artists including jazz legend Herbie Hancock, FKA Twigs, Maggie Rogers, GOOD Music’s Teyana Taylor, Kelsey Lu, A Guy Called Gerald, ‘Born Slippy’ dancefloor fillers Underworld and Sharron van Etten. House pioneer Larry Heard (aka Mr. Fingers) is also set to make his return to Vivid to perform an outdoors live set with Robert Owens.

In addition, local favourites such as The Middle East (regrouping for their first performance since 2011) Stella Donnelly, cult instrumental trio The Dirty Three and Jack Ladder are locked in to perform at the festival, while rapper/actor/activist Briggs is also set to host a showcase of talent from his record label Bad Apples Music. The Ocean Party will also perform their last ever show at the event.

There’s also a whole swathe of other visual arts, cultural discussions, light shows and other performances to immerse yourself in, which you can explore over here. Looks like the Vivid team have outdone themselves once again with this stellar lineup.

Vivid Sydney will occur from 24 May – 15 June 2019. Head to their website for all the details and ticket pricing.
