TC Helicon have unveiled the new Go interface range with two new compact audio interfaces to tap into the mobile music sector.
Taking cues from competing designs such as IK Multimedia's iRig series and the new EVO By Audient range, the TC Helicon Go range boasts quality Midas mic preamps, line and Hi-Z inputs and combo XLR connectors to bundle the bare essentials into one package. Power is supplied via two AA batteries, USB bus power or an optional DC power brick, and each unit is compatible with Apple, PC and Android devices.
For a totally portable and compact recording solution, the Go Solo features a single XLR/TRS input and a single headphone output for monitoring, as well as MIDI I/O mini jacks to hook up other hardware components for mobile jams. The Go Twin provides users with two inputs and additional dual TRS outputs, letting you hook it up to a set of studio monitors or other hardware.
Both TC Helicon Go interfaces also include a suite of mobile music apps, including Guitar Rack, Go Studio FX and Go Record, while the Voice Jam looper and vocal processor can be purchased additionally. They also ship with a three year warranty, which should be enough to seal the deal for any mildly interested mobile musician.
TC Helicon is distributed nationwide via Amber Technology.
