Sir Elton John Returns to Australia

The Piano Man.jpg

The one and only, Sir Elton John will make his way back to Australian shores this December. A six date national tour aptly titled “All The Hits Tour”, this will truly be a concert series like no other as he pulls out all the big numbers with orchestrated crowd sing-alongs in tow. Audiences will also be privy to the iconic 12m wide touring Chandelier that has been a centrepiece of his international touring entourage.

Having played 179 concerts across Australia to already 1.5million people, there is no doubt this concert series will be musically one of his finest with a touring band that consists of the very excellent Nigel Olsson (drums), Davey Johnston (guitar), Matt Bissonette (bass) John Mahon (percussion) and Kim Bullard (keyboards).

Let’s not even get started on the fact that Elton John is one of the top-selling solo artists of all time, with 37 gold and 27 multi-platinum albums that total 250 million records sold worldwide. He also holds the record for the largest selling single of all time, 33 million copies with the infamous ‘Candle in the Wind 1997’. Singer-songwriters, musicians and performers,it is time to get schooled!
