The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed their 2020 nominees

The Finalists include Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden, Motörhead and Judas Preist, as well as Whitney Houston, The Doobie Brothers, Thin Lizzy and more.

To be announced in January, the winners of the 2020 intake are determined by votes from fans, as well as from a group of artists, historians and music industry members.

In order to be eligible for nomination, the first recording from the artist must have been released at least 25 years ago. This year is the first time The Notorious B.I.G, Soundgarden, Motörhead, DMB and Whitney Houston have been nominated.

Several nominees from previous years missed out on another nomination, including The Smiths, The Eurythmics and Kate Bush.
