The original session was recorded just days after Pearl Jam completed their blockbuster tour around the US with Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and features seven stripped-back renditions of tracks from Ten, including ‘Black’, ‘Even Flow’, ‘Alive’, ‘Jeremy’ and more.
Pearl Jam’s MTV Unplugged will see a limited edition release on vinyl as part of Record Store Day’s Black Friday event on Friday November 29. Nirvana’s own Unplugged performance is also set to receive a vinyl release of its own on Friday November 1, making next month a huge affair for those grunge purists out there.
