PBS Radio launch their annual membership drive for 2020

From Monday May 18 until Sunday May 31, PBS Radio will run their biggest on-air and online fundraiser of the year, with listeners being encouraged to sign up or renew their annual membership. The radio station, who are embracing the apt theme of ‘You Can’t Stop The Music’ for 2020, will also be airing cherished memories, guest appearances and tales of PBS’ past to celebrate the two-week membership drive, as will as putting a huge stash of prizes up for grabs.

Some of the major prizes up for grabs this year include a Primavera 125 i-GET Vespa, a custom-made Goldfinger guitar crafted by Clingan Guitar Tone, a Giro F2 bike, a Gett by Funk turntable with an F7 tonearm and AT cartridge and an entire year’s worth of PBS feature albums.

There’s also a bunch of prizes tailored to different membership categories. For example, a performer member can go in the running to win a Baked Goods live session recording, while a business can win up to $1000 of printed merchandise from Das T’Shirt Automat.

It’s a membership drive of mega proportions, and for any local music loving legends, it’s a bit of a no-brainer to sign up. PBS really are the unsung heroes of Melbourne’s music scene, and every little bit of love we can give back means all the difference.
