Patti Smith, punk-poet and one of the most celebrated artists of the modern age, has announced a handful of extra shows in Australia while in the country for Bluesfest this April.
After packing out huge venues in 2017 for what was promised at the time to be her last Australian shows, Patti Smith and Her Band were coaxed out of hiding once again in order to headline Bluesfest - not that anyone's complaining, of course.
The demand to her shows this year have been so fervent that dates have been added to fulfill the needs of her immense fanbase, particularly in Melbourne, where a third show at the Forum has been announced. She's also set to perform at Newcastle's Entertainment Centre a week after her headlining Bluesfest set.
Check out all dates - and a recent cover of Neil Young's 'After The Gold Rush' below.
