Ormsby Guitars announces details of Metal and Goliath multi-scale series

More Multi-Scale Mammoths For Metalheads

Ormsby Guitars has announced two new models of multi-scale guitars inspired by classic shred models of the '80s – the Metal X and Metal V, as well as a new Goliath headless model.

Featuring brand new Blizzard and Concordia pickups, the Metal X and Metal V multiscale range features a mahogany body with a maple set-neck construction, an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and Luminlay side dots. These models are available in both Gloss White with Deep Blue Pearl Pinstripes and Matte Black finishes, and can be purchased in either six or seven string configurations.

For something a bit different, the Metal X GTR and Metal V GTR are also available in Multiscale Flame Top Exotic versions featuring Swamp Ash bodies with premium maple tops, laminated rock maple set-necks, ebony fingerboards, revised D-shape necks and custom Ormsby hardware. They're also fitted with Ormsby's new Blizzard and Concordia humbuckers, modelled after classic hard rock and metal tones of the early '80s, and feature finishes such as Ice Tea, Double Blue, Dragon Burst and Dahlia Black.

Ormsby has also detailled a new take on their Goliath headless model, the Goliath GTR, with new models featuring chambered mahogany and swamp ash bodies, maple and ebony fretboards, and Hot Rock A8 and De La Creme A2 humbucking pickups.
