Lightsleeper was recorded in Neil Finn’s Auckland studio and brings a bunch of talented Finn family members together, including Neil’s wife Sharon on bass, son Elroy drumming on seven songs, and family friend Connan Mockasin also lends his musical talent to four tracks.
The father and son duo has shared the first track from the new album, ‘Back To Life’ – a graceful piece of guitar pop giving further insight into the 11-track record.
It’s been a busy time for Neil Finn, who recently made headlines when he joined Fleetwood Mac. Now, the Finn family will prepare for the Lightsleeper album release from another ridiculously talented Finn duo.
