MXR’s New Pedal Channels The Tone Of ‘One Of The Rarest Amps Ever Made’

MXR.jpg

Collaborating with revered Japanese amp-tech and pedal designer Shin Suzuki, MXR has delivered something quite refreshing and new to the brand with the Shin-Juku distortion pedal. Aiming to capture the sound of ‘one of the rarest and most sought-after amps ever made’, the new addition to MXR is a descendant from the classic Dumble Overdrive.

Keeping up appearances, the green MXR pedal is fitted with three knobs – Output, Tone and Gain, while having a Dark switch that cuts the highs for a mellower tone. The Japanese inspired designs harnesses Shin’s in-depth knowledge, and strives to bring big sustain and fast response that in-turn pummels a sweet grinding overdrive.
