NATIONAL MEDIA COORDINATOR – UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP (Sydney)

If you’re looking to break big into the music industry with one of the biggest names in Australia, then this one’s for you. Universal Music Group are currently on the hunt for a National Media Coordinator to join their Sydney offices and keep things on track for 2018.

Tasks Include:

  • Build and maintain relationships with media contact via regular phone, email and face to face contact
  • Liaise with Marketing team to ensure timely availability and delivery of tools required for media service
  • Preparing and distributing weekly PR reports and compiling other information as required by the team
  • Work closely with the Radio team on increasing the weekly National Radio chart share for our artists. Collaborate and create innovative strategies and opportunities for artists across Radio regionally
  • Collaborate with the Streaming team to deliver playlist additions and weekly priorities across our streaming platforms
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for PR team, business partners and prize winners. Organise visas for international trips as required
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Managing Directors, Universal

UNIT COORDINATOR/ASSISTANT – TRIPLE J (Sydney)

Australia’s number one youth broadcasting agency triple j are currently seeking an Assistant Coordinator to come and join their ranks at the ABC offices in Sydney. This position is a six month contracted role providing administrative support to the triple j management team, so if you’re looking for a full time gig, this one’s probably not for you. 

 

Skills/Responsibilities Required:

  • Excellent administration skills, preferably with financial experience
  • Enthusiastic with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • Confidence using MS Office suite and SAP (HR and Finance)

Tasks Include:

  • Providing administrative support to triple j and the triple j management team to ensure the smooth running of the Network (triple j, Double J and triple j Unearthed)
  • Monitoring budget performance and variances (pay summaries, line items), preparing monthly journals and forecasting the triple j budget
  • Processing invoices, payments and artist fees for the Network and providing support for business automation
  • Providing routine HR advice to staff and managers (in conjunction with ABC HR Advisers) and completing employment and recruitment forms
  • Coordinating listener contacts for triple j
  • Special projects and administrative support including content initiatives, live events and outside broadcasts

The Kensington based entity are currently accepting applications for a multi-talented project manager to take Cooking Vinyl to new heights in 2018.

  • Supervise the flow of information and assets through to the marketing and media teams
