UAT COORDINATOR – APRA AMCOS (Sydney)

They are seeking an attention to detail orientated individual who thrives in a busy and high volume environment to take on the role as UAT coordinator. This role may suit a recent IT or Project Management graduate looking for experience working on a large scale tech project.

 

Skills/Responsibilities Required:

  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio as a testing tool is desirable but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, envisage solutions and creatively consider alternatives

Tasks Include: 

  • Provide support to the UAT Lead by developing and implementing strategies to track and report on the progress of User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
  • Assist in driving progress in UAT, including monitoring of test case execution and defect management;
  • Assist UAT Lead to solve issues that may impede progress in the UAT phase;
  • Consult across all areas of the CLEF project management team and the wider business as required;
  • Support the UAT Lead on tasks as directed. Duties and responsibilities Key responsibilities:
  • Help to design and deliver reports on progress, blockers and other issues before and during the UAT phase;
  • Work with the UAT Lead, Subject Matter Experts and Superusers to ensure the continued execution of UAT test cases;
  • Liaise with key stakeholders within the business, as well as external vendors, to formulate strategies and solutions to drive progress of UAT;

HEAD OF DEPARTMENT (AUDIO ENGINEERING) – JMC Academy (Melbourne) 

 

Established in 1982, the JMC Academy is one of Australia’s leading Creative Industry providers, offering higher education qualifications in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. They are currently undergoing an exciting period of development at JMC, and are looking to fill the role of Head of Department in Audio Engineering and Sound Production for their Melbourne campus to assist in this process.

 

Skills/Responsibilities Required: 

  • Master’s Degree or higher in audio engineering and sound production, or closely related field of study
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in audio engineering and sound production
  • High level knowledge of and experience in a specific field (for example: live, studio, and/or electronic music production)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Working as an academic in a tertiary environment (lecturer, curriculum development)
  • Ability to work in a close knit team environment
  • Well organised with excellent time management skills, and able to work with minimal supervision

 

Tasks Include: 

  • Providing academic leadership to academic staff in the Audio Engineering and Sound Production department
  • Maintaining a high level of academic integrity amongst your staff and students
  • Effectively and efficiently managing the delivery of the audio engineering and sound production programs
  • Seeking and obtaining opportunities for students to develop their industry networks, including internships and/or volunteering
  • Working with your Head of Department peers on the Melbourne campus to increase opportunities for audio students to work on multi-disciplinary projects, as required of the curriculum and as extra-curricular activities
  • Collaborating with your Head of Department peers on the Brisbane and Sydney campuses to review curriculum, moderate assessments, and introduce teaching and learning and/or technological innovations into the programs
  • Continuously improving the quality of delivery of the audio engineering and sound production programs, including
  • Monitoring student satisfaction with their learning experiences
  • Recruiting, mentoring and supervising academic and studio staff
  • Consulting and collaborating with your peers and Campus Manager in Melbourne, and your colleagues in Brisbane and Sydney to make positive changes as required
  • Leading by example to promote the benefit of scholarship and professional development    
  • Administrative duties as necessary to ensure sound conduct of the business of your department
  • Representing JMC Academy positively in all your dealings

DATA REGISTRATION ADMINISTRATOR, APRA AMCOS (Sydney)

Skills/Responsibilities Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to translate technical terminology to plain English
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Tools to manipulate and present data
  • General knowledge of contemporary, popular music and broadcast, film & TV programmes

 

Tasks Include: 

  • Authorise programmes and productions submitted by data providers
  • Manually enter registrations accurately analysing the contents and maintain related work details
  • Review and respond to various queries from other departments and third parties regarding Programme and Production records, outputs and processes
  • Researching, sourcing cue sheets and Monitor Local and Foreign cue sheet mailboxes
  • Identify any anomalies from system
