MIXDOWN IS LOOKING FOR INTERNS

Have You Got What It Takes?

Are you a music nut? Do you own more guitars than you do items of cutlery? Are you of the belief that Bon Scott's contribution to Australian culture surpasses that of any other? Is your idea of a good night in (if not out seeing live music) is watching a marathon of Boiler Room sets on youtube with a six pack? If you answered 'yes' to any of those questions and know the difference between "their, there and they're", you might be just the person we're looking for.

Mixdown Magazine is on the look out for a few shiny new interns with a knack for writing and a passion for music.

With the development of the new site has come new opportunities for some aspiring writers and editors to get some valuable experience working at Australia's only national gear focused street press. As an intern at Mixdown you'll assist us in creating content, editing articles, uploading content to the site and managing/scheduling posts across various social media platforms that Mixdown is currently using.

Interns play a really important role in helping put Mixdown together, both in print and online. If you're an aspiring writer or editor and you're looking to get your hands dirty (for a minimum of 3 months) with some genuine industry experience, then please get in touch with us at mixdownstaff@beat.com.au.

Please note that while Mixdown is a national publication, we are based in Melbourne, so please only apply if you're able to come in to our Melbourne office to help out.
