Marshall have started their own podcast

Hosted by Daniel P. Carter, the former guitarist for The Bloodhound Gang and a radio DJ in his own right, the Marshall Podcast “provides fans with insight into the lives of some of the biggest rock stars. Expect tales from on tour, album anecdotes, rig setups and playing tips from people who have rocked stages.”

Marshall claim that the podcast will contain both gear-related content as well as other stories of general interest to the music community, with Carter saying that “I wasn’t particularly into the idea of sitting with an artist and discussing every details of their amp settings. However, I did want to sit with these people and talk about their lives, from touring, to their creativity and everything in between, and how Marshall has helped to play a part in it. This podcast does exactly that.”

For their debut episode, which you can listen to now, features none other than Guns ‘N Roses legend Slash, who appears to discuss his original influences, the sounds he aims to create as a guitarist and how he copes with playing in front of huge crowds on tour. Next week’s episode is also set to include interviews with both Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale.
