LCD Soundsystem + Nick Murphy announce headline tour

After spawning a series of decade defining dance-punk hits and entering a self-imposed hiatus at the end of 2010, LCD Soundsystem’s return to music last year garnered signicificant acclaim from fans around the globe. Following a huge year of touring and the release of their fourth critically acclaimed LP American Dream, James Murphy and co. have announced their return to Australia for a massive run of shows in February – and they’re bringing a huge guest.

Nick Murphy – formerly known as the bearded electro-soul crooner Chet Faker – will be supporting the Brooklyn dance-punk act on their 2018 tour, marking the Australian expat’s first visit down under since debuting his Missing Link EP at the Sydney Opera House earlier this year. With new single ‘Medication’ doing the rounds and a new record rumoured to be on the way some time in early 2018, you can expect to hear a huge set of classic hits from Murphy alongside his genre-pushing body of new material.

You can catch LCD Soundsystem and Nick Murphy in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland in February next year. Check the dates below to find your city to see these unmissable shows.
