King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have added an 11th studio album to their ever-growing catalogue, this time teaming up with LA’s Mild High Club to create Sketches of Brunswick East.
The two bands previously toured together across Europe, the US and Australia (including at Gizzfest 2016), culminating in three weeks spent creating Sketches of Brunswick East.
The album is the third of five released by King Gizz this year in their ambitious project to release five albums in 2017.
“We don’t expect everyone to like everything that we release, but I hope people can view these five records as one body of work,” said guitarist and singer Stu Mackenzie. “They’ve been made at the same time, by the same people, in the same place, and they all overlap.”
Sketches of Brunswick East is out now via Flightless Records. Stay tuned for more information on this year's Gizzfest, scheduled for Saturday November 18 - Monday December 4.
