Joe Satriani announces ‘What Happens Next’ Australian tour

The long-awaited tour is set to take Satriani, the world’s most commercially successful solo guitar performer, around the country for shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane.

Satriani will tour in support of his latest album What Happens Next, billed as the “most accessible, straightforward rock album” he’s ever released. The album was made with a little help from his friends, including Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Glenn Hughes (Chickenfoot, Deep Purple), and producer Mike Fraser.

Having earned his reputation as a stalwart of the music industry over four successful decades, Satriani will arrive in Australia with what is bound to be a stellar setlist—he’ll be able to draw from 16 solo albums and a catalogue that’s produced a whopping 15 Grammy nominations.

The tour will be a must-see event for Satriani fans, who last had the chance to see the great guitarist during his visit in 2014. Plan ahead and find your nearest show in the dates below:
