Furch Guitars expands acoustic range with Indigo Deluxe CY

Joining the Indigo Deluxe series, Furch’s newest guitar features a solid American red cedar soundboard with layered mahogany back and sides, generating a warm and balanced sound. An open-pore finish leaves wood pores exposed and ensures the natural tonality of the chosen tonewoods is retained.

“Guitars with a back made from layered woods are sometimes perceived as being of lesser quality, but that is not necessarily true as regards sound and playability,” said Petr Furch, CEO of Furch Guitars. “Our special arched design of the back plate ensures uniform tension and stability, which translates into excellent acoustic parameters.”

The Indigo Deluxe CY boasts an ebony fingerboard, which offers enhanced comfort through its inclusion of buffed frets with hidden fret leg ends. The guitar also features a solid Indian rosewood ring rosette, white mother-of-pearl side and front position markers on the fretboard, and a Furch soft V neck profile.
