German based guitar manufacturer Framus have unveiled their instrument range, including the new D series as well as signature models for Devin Townsend and Alice In Chains' William DuVall.
Available as both a Custom Shop Masterbuilt and a Pro Series Teambuilt creation, the Framus William DuVall Talisman Signature offers premium features such as a mahogany body with a flame maple top and Seymour Duncan electronics. Made in close collaboration with DuVall, who replaced Layne Staley as Alice In Chains' lead singer and rhythm guitarist in 2006, the Talisman Signature also features 22 frets, a tigerstripe ebony fingerboard, and a natural oil finish.
Renowned shredder Devin Townsend has also received a new signature model with the Framus Devin Townsend Stormbender Artist series guitar. With a unique carved aesthetic, dual humbuckers and premium hardware, the Stormbender also features a unique circle fretboard inlay up near the twelfth fret.
For the more budget conscious buyer, Framus's D Series offers six new models, based off classic shapes and featuring updated electronics and hardware. The Phil XG features an SG inspired body with Seymour Duncan electronics and a Tune-o-matic bridge, while the Panthera comes in both 6 and 7 string models.
