“I’m really proud to be here representing Australian music at The Grammys on this stage right now,” he said during the acceptance speech. “I want to thank all the collaborators on the record, who helped add so much colour and flavour to it.”

Skin is the second album by the 25 year old Sydney based musician, who has already had a massive 2017 after taking out the top spot for Triple J’s Hottest 100 with his single ‘Never Be Like You’. The song was also nominated for the Best Dance Recording Grammy, but lost out to The Chainsmokers’ hit ‘Don’t Let Me Down’.

Flume, AKA Harley Streten, has a new EP, Skin Companion EP 2, due for release this Friday. His previous EP, Skin Companion EP 1, was released in November and contains material recorded during the sessions for Skin.

Skin by Flume is out now through Future Classic.
