Fender reveal the Rarities Quilt Maple Top Stratocaster

Featuring a solid one-piece rosewood neck with a soft ’60s C neck profile – similar to the Limited Edition American Professional Jazzmasters we saw yesterday – the Rarities Quilt Maple Top Stratocaster boasts a 9.5 inch fretboard radius, with 21 narrow tall frets and an engraved headstock. The body of the instrument offers players with an extremely lavish combination of a two-piece roasted alder body with a figured quilt maple top for a striking aesthetic. It’s almost like what you’d expect a Fender cake to look like – creamy.

The Rarities Quilt Maple Top Stratocaster also features a single-ply gold anodised aluminium pickguard, as well as a classic six-point synchronised tremolo and a sturdy bone nut. It’s also got three Vintage 65 single coil pickups with a standard five-way pickup selector and tone/volume knob setup, fusing familiarity with flashiness to create an instrument you’ll want to cherish forever.
