Faith Guitars and Patrick James Eggle have unveiled two stunning new limited edition acoustic models, featuring hand-burnished finishes and exquisite tonewoods.
The new guitars feature in Faith's Monarch range, which includes the cutaway Earth OMC and the more traditional Mars Drop Dreadnought. Both models are respectively shaped around Eggle's distinctive Linville and Kanuga designs, and are crafted in England using the finest craftsmanship available.
Each model is constructed with a torrefied Sitka spruce top and high-grade mahogany backs and sides, and feature hand-applied burst finishes with several coats of nitrocellulose lacquer. The company are touting that Eggle himself applied the final rubbing to the nitro finishes of each model in order to create the semi-satin burnished look.
Elsewhere, the Monarch range offers celluloid tortoiseshell pickguards, solid ebony tuner pegs and Gotoh 301 tuners with monogrammed PJE machineheads. The range is being released in limited quantities right now, but we're hearing that there'll be more dropping sometime later this year - we'll keep you posted if there's any landing in Australia anytime soon.
Faith Guitars are distributed in Australia through CMC Music.
