With a body shape based on the baby-jumbo Neptune, the Faith Guitars Hi-Gloss Neptune Baritone features a 26.7″ scale, allowing for players to tune the strings down to beefy tunings such as A or B standard. The guitar is built from Englemann spruce, mahogany neck and a solid rosewood back and sides, while a flame maple binding completes the package for a classy look and feel. Elsewhere, the fretboard, bridge, headstock plate and heel of the instrument are crafted from premium Macassan ebony.
All of the Neptune Baritone’s tonewoods are coated in a high-gloss finish, aiding in the natural resonance of the body shape of the guitar as well as gracing the Neptune with enhanced clarity, string articulation and volume. The guitar also features a a Sonicore piezo under the saddle as well as a low-profile Fishman INK3 preamp system that features a chromatic tuner, three-band EQ and volume control.
