Epiphone Unveils Embassy Pro and Thunderbird Vintage Pro Basses

Commemorating the 60th anniversary of Epiphone’s partnership with Gibson, the Embassy Pro is a tribute to the elusive ’60s bass, merging vintage aesthetics with updated hardware for the modern age. Featuring two ProBucker #760 Bass Humbuckers, a Tune-o-matic bridge and ’60s style ‘claw’ tailpiece, the Embassy Pro’s updated two-per-side tuners also boast improved balance and stability, offering a reliable vintage inspired model for the contemporary rock bassist.

Prominently used by The Who’s John Entwistle throughout the 60’s, the legendary tone and design of the Thunderbird has also received a reboot by Epiphone with the Thunderbird Vintage Pro. Featuring updated specs including two ProBucker Bass pickups, a claw tailpiece and improved electronics, the Thunderbird Vintage Pro is also available in Alpine White, Ebony, and Tobacco Sunburst.
