The UK four-piece will bring their unique style of doom metal to Australia fresh from the 2017 release of their ninth studio album, Wizard Bloody Wizard. Electric Wizard are known for constantly redefining the thoughts surrounding detuned guitar chords, and have provided the metal community with reverberating riffs and heavy acid rock since their inception in 1993.
Dark Mofo will host the exclusive Australian performance of Electric Wizard when the festival returns to Hobart this June. The event regularly attracts thousands of people to explore centuries-old rituals and the relationship between everything from darkness and light to ancient and contemporary mythology. Plus, there’s always some of the best musical acts from around the nation and the world on hand to add to the entertainment, with some past performers including Sunn O))), ZHU, and the Presets.
