The new addition features an open pore finish body, providing a “natural feel to the touch, as well as enhancing the tone with a more open and organic sound,” according to the Cort Guitars website.
Available in Aqua Blue, Burgundy Red and Trans Black, the B4 Plus AS RM looks slick in its new finish, and, coupled with a resonant swamp ash body, provides a comlementary deep and lively sound. The model balances four woods across its frame, including a 5-piece Wanga Wanga and Walnut in the neck. The result is a light weight, well balanced and naturaly resonant guitar, with a mix of tonal woods that expand its capabilities.
Feature-wise, the bass has Bartolini® MK-1 pickups, Markbass® MB-1 electronics, Hipshot® Ultralite tuners and D’Addario® YB EXL165 strings.
