The acoustic model is an extension of the company’s T (Traditional) series, which was created with contributing input from Lage himself. The OM1 JL shares many of the same specs as the OM1T but with several key differences.
The model boasts a neck based on the guitarist’s original 1939 Martin 000-18, which is featured throughout his 2015 album World’s Fair, as well as being used as his main touring guitar for several years.
It has traditional voicings that emphasise the strong fundamental tone with warm rounded high and a crisp attack and has been finished with a custom satin lacquer that lends it an openness of tone found in pre-war acoustics.
