CIRCA WAVES RELEASE CLIP INSPIRED BY B-GRADE HORROR

Circa Waves Main.jpg

Described as a ‘thriller, within a thriller, within a thriller’, the clip initially shows frontman Kieran Shudall embarking on a series of faux-gruesome murders, purposefully shot with a B-movie aesthetic. Eventually it is revealed that Shudall is in fact starring in a movie, though as they camera pans in on him it is apparent that he is in fact becoming unhinged.

The clip stars a variety of characters that would not look out of place in a made-for-TV version of Guess Who?, including Isaac Hempstead Wright, who is best known for playing Bran Stark in Game Of Thrones. Shudall contacted Hempstead Wright personally via Twitter to see if he would be interested in the role, and as it turned out the actor was already a fan of the band.

‘Fire That Burns’ is the second single to be taken from Circa Waves’ upcoming album, Different Creatures, and shows a more rock-oriented sound than their previous releases.

Different Creatures by Circa Waves will be released on Friday March 10 through Dew Process/EMI and can be preordered here.
