Charvel have released a signature model of their Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH electric guitar in honour of Joe Duplantier, the frontman for French metal band Gojira.
Designed to suit Duplantier’s style and specifications, the model stays true to Charvel’s reputation for making high-performance guitars built for speed, while the dual Duncan Designed HB humbucking pickups help deliver a ‘monster’ tone.
The San Dimas Style body is made out of nato wood, with a specially contoured heel for easy access to the upper frets, and the bolt-on nato neck has special graphite reinforcement and an oil back finish to aid speedy playing.
Other features include 12”-16” compound radio ebony fingerboard with 22 extra larged sized frets, a three-way toggle pickup switch and a Charvel compound radius compensated bridge with anchored tailpiece.
The Joe Duplantier Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 22 HH will come in Satin White with black body binding and a Fender Telecaster headstock.
