Crafted in their American Custom Shop, these shred-worthy guitars offer a new spin on the beloved Dinky silhouette, matching alder bodies with caramelised maple necks and scooped neck joints for ease of access up the neck. These DK24 2PT models also feature a 12″-16″ compound radius and a caramelised maple fretboard, complete with rolled edges, 24 stainless steel jumbo frets, pearl dot inlays and Luminlay side sots. There’s also a heel-mounted truss rod wheel for easy adjustments, USA-made Sperzel locking tuners, a two-point recessed Gotoh Custom 510 bridge and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut to keep it all locked in.
In the pickup department, these models feature Seymour Duncan Full Shred SH-10B humbuckers in the bridge for jagged leads and chugging rhythms, while a custom Seymour Duncan Flat Strat SSL-6 and Flat Strat RWRP single-coil sit in the middle and neck position respectively. There’s also a five-way switch to keep you on the front foot with tonal versatility, while a 500k EVH Bourns volume pot and no-load tone controls will ensure signal clarity and high performance.
The new Charvel USA Select DK24 2PT CM models are available in either Satin Black or Quicksilver finishes, while there’s also Quilt Maple Autumn Glow and Blue Burst models available for a more deluxe look.
