‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ kicks off awards season with wins at 76th Annual Golden Globes

The Queen biopic took home both awards it gained nominations for, with wins in the prestigious categories of Best Actor (for Rami Malek’s memorable depiction of Freddie Mercury) and Best Motion Picture – Drama.

Bohemian Rhapsody has taken the world by storm since its release in 2018, earning the title of the highest-grossing music biopic in cinematic history, generating a whopping $600 million worldwide.

The film tells the story of Queen, from the legendary band’s humble beginnings through to their iconic performance at Live Aid. The soundtrack is one of the film’s biggest drawcards for music fans, featuring a 22-song tracklist including renditions from Live Aid.

It’s the ideal start to awards season for Bohemian Rhapsody. Bring on the Oscars.
