Bernard Fanning + Wolfmother set to headline fundraiser for NSW Rural Fire Service

Taking Over Byron Bay This January

To assist the hundreds of rural firies sweating their asses off fighting blazes in New South Wales, the cream of Australia's rock crop are banding together to put on a benefit concert up in Byron Bay.

Featuring Bernard Fanning, Tim Rogers, Wolfmother and the Antipodean Rock Collective (featuring members of You Am I, JET and Powderfinger), the Make It Rain – Fund The Firies Benefit 2020 is set to take over Byron Bay's Beach Hotel for two nights back-to-back.

In addition to the back-to-back music, there's also an auction taking place to help raise further funds for the NSW RFS - because some limp-dick dead shit in Parliament keeps cutting funding to rural fire brigades. The auction is set to feature items donated by a number of big name Australian celebrities, including Chris Hemsworth, Powderfinger, Pat Rafter, Mick Fanning and more. There's even a damn songwriting session with Bernard Fanning himself up for grabs, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is hard to top.
