Founded by Lyndon Laney, who was playing in The Band of Joy with Robert Plant and John Bonham, Laney gained popularity in the early 70s with Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath quickly becoming a dedicated Laney user, recording with one on the bands debut self titled album.
