ABLETON LIVE 10 DETAILS REVEALED

Currently in beta, Live 10 will be offering a host of new features including improvements to Ableton’s pad controller Push, four new Devices, workflow enhancements promising to speed up the creation process, a redesigned sound library, and the option to have Max for Live fully intergrated into the software.

Further updates to the software can be seen in the inclusion of the Device Wavetable (a synth with a range of waveforms), the ability to capture ideas automatically, and the addition of three new effects: Echo Delay, Drum Buss, and Pedal.

Though reminiscent of the classic Live interface, Live 10 has been updated to be cleaner and clearer. It also boasts the ability to capture your ideas automatically. Multiple MIDI clips can now be edited in one view, while improvements to the Arrangement View include a ‘Favourites’ option and a ‘Groups Within Groups’ feature providing easier Set organisation.

Ableton are distributed in Australia through CMI Music & Audio.
