Straight Out Of Kalamazoo: Heritage Guitar Introduce The H-157W

heritage.jpg

The new guitar is a ‘refreshed take’ on the iconic Heritage H-157 Model, and features a solid mahogany body and neck, with black and white binding around the body top and back, and white binding on the neck and headstock. For this special edition model, the mahogany is ultra premium, hand selected western maple, which results in a lightweight guitar.

The guitar maintains vintage Kalamazoo design in the electronics, and is the first Heritage model to be fitted with ThroBak electronics. Fitted with ThroBak KZ-115 PAF humbuckers, wound on the same machines used at the same factory way back in 1957, the guitar has a bit of history in it, as well as some impressive tones.

Only a limited run will be made of these guitars, with just 50 available worldwide. There are 25 in quilted maple and 25 in tiger maple, and come in two different finishes: either ‘Honey Lemon’ (with nickel hardware), or ‘Fireburst’ (with gold hardware), and they will be available from Heritage dealers.

Heritage guitars are available in Australia from Sky Music.
